When I was in my early 20’s living in Arizona, riding horses at night under the desert stars I never imagined I would become a Professional Horse Trainer with a successful trail riding business.
I have had many highlights in my years as a professional horseman. Working, training and riding with some of the world’s best horse trainers such as Josh & John Lyons is a privilege and honor I will always be thankful for. Having the opportunity to work with celebrity Harrison Ford and his horses would give me a sense of accomplishment as a Professional Horse Trainer.
I have spent many years accumulating the experience and knowledge that allows me to offer the training programs/trail riding packages through Complete Horsemanship, Ranch at the Canyon Trail Rides and Smith Rock Trail Rides.We are excited to announce that we will be offering our Trail Rides at Crooked River Ranch! One of Oregon’s largest Ranches.
I have guided trips professionally in Alaska, Mexico, Wyoming (including Yellowstone National Park), Montana, Idaho and Oregon over the last 16 years.
In addition, I have conducted clinics, performed demonstrations, participated in trainers’ challenges, and have worked privately with clients across the United States and Canada.
Since May of 2014, my wife Melanie and I enjoy living in Central Oregon with our seven horses, three dogs, and two cats. I truly have been blessed to do what I do for a living. Training horses, working with clients, and teaching them how to maintain that training is a job I look forward to each day.
Being able to offer trail riding packages with some of the most spectacular views in Central Oregon, such as Crooked River Ranch, Smith Rock State Park Ranch at the Canyons is another amazing opportunity I never take for granted.
